Rooted in Faith Colossians 2:6 As ye have therefore received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk ye in him: Question, was Christs work complete? yes of course. Next question since Christ's work is complete and we have received Him how should we walk in Him? Completely? Since God has bought us, I would say He wants all of us, correct? He did not pay such a tremendous price to receive part of us! Being rooted in Him really gives us the ability to be stable, sure, steadfast, single minded, and safe. We have a lot to be thankful for. Colossians 2:7 Rooted and built up in him, and stablished in the faith, as ye have been taught, abounding therein with thanksgiving. We are rooted and then built up in him which is the establishing of our faith. After all, faith will, with out doubt, produce what is seen above the soil. Hebrews 11:1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. How can you love someone you do not believe? How can you obey without belief? How can you act on the phrase "He is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him" without having faith? Will you choose to be rooted in God, He is our only source for our strength in the Christian life!.....Because if you are not completely rooted in Him.....Who are you fooling? 1 John 2:28 And now, little children, abide in him; that, when he shall appear, we may have confidence, and not be ashamed before him at his coming.
